Rascal the Raccoon
Meet Rascal the Raccoon
Rascal the Raccoon hails from the scenic woodlands surrounding Columbus, Ohio, where he was once a mischievous young raccoon known for his knack of getting into trouble. Rascal developed an adventurous spirit and a curiosity about how human life works.
One fateful night, while scavenging for snacks near the Scioto River, he discovered a community event where families and friends gathered to celebrate local culture and cuisine. Inspired by the sense of togetherness, he brings his spirited joy and mischievousness to Columbus, Ohio, and the surrounding areas.
He reminds residents of the importance of community, creativity, and a little bit of fun along the way, promoting his “Rascal's Bully Busters” program.
Rascal grew up under the stereotype of being a “trash panda” and a “bandit”. He has made it his goal to end stereotyping and teach the children of tomorrow that bullying is…NOT OK!
Rascal's Bully Busters Assembly Program
13 million students are victims of bullying each year. Rascal the Raccoon and your school are teaming up to change that!
Rascal and his emcee will teach S.M.I.L.E. to all the children through physical comedy, as well as talking about real life situations. They will also go over the different types of bullying and what they mean (physical bullying, mental bullying, self-bullying, and online bullying).
Through this 30-minute assembly, the children will learn how to be a buddy NOT a bully and how to avoid being a bully when they are faced with a problem or situation.
Types of bullying addressed:
Physical Bullying - Bullying that hurts
Social Bullying - Bullying with words
Self-Bullying - Thinking positively about yourself
Online Bullying - Bullying through social media
